Omar Alomran

Omar knows how to handle big quotes. In fact, national PVF contracts and projects are his focus. When customers send large Industrial Group bid packages to our branches, Omar and his team step up to take charge and take the packages off the branches’ plates — so the branches can focus on what they do best: servicing their customers’ day-to-day needs.

When we talk about “big” quotes, we mean “really big.” It’s not uncommon for these large-scale industrial contracts to include more than 50 plant locations across the U.S. and more than 1,000 lines of material needed in their specifications. Omar and his team also handle major industrial PVF projects like new industrial plants or plant expansions. As the team leader, Omar consistently aims to ensure his team delivers value and seeks to develop new ways to exceed our customers’ expectations.

After hearing about Wolseley from a friend at Oregon State, Omar joined the company in 2005 as a management trainee on the HVAC side of the business. Holding various roles across the industrial business over the past 16 years, today as National Quotations Manager Omar works to build out the group’s capabilities and plan for the future, in addition to leading his team in managing complex contracts and quotations.
Since joining the company, he has watched it evolve and grow, and has supported an expanding team that has grown from just 4 or 5 associates to 23 associates and 4 managers over the past 16 years.

As a leader, Omar strives to be a positive influence on his team and the entire Industrial Group. He takes pride in coming to work every day with two essential tools for success: an open mind and a willingness to learn.
